memories for a lifetime
Education Internship
South Africa receives millions of tourists every year thanks to its beautiful white beaches, exciting sports activities, and diverse wildlife. As our organisation grows, so does our family, and we want you to be a part of it. We offer a variety of internships across multiple different areas of SAVE, as well as within organisations we work closely with. Our interns immediately become part of our family and are integral for the smooth running and impactful work that is being done.
South Africa has many challenges and the education sector is no exception. Only 20% of state expenditure is allocated to the government education department. The local network of schools, private and government schools, and other organisations involved in education is extensive. Your internship will have different directions, from working as a teacher’s assistant, mentoring students, doing research on the education policies, fundraising and contributing to the development of the school or centre.
